Please read this Disclaimer carefully. It forms part of the Terms of Service that govern use of Funder Compass (the "Service").
Software only — no licensed services
Funder Compass is a software-as-a-service platform that helps private lenders, brokers, mortgage managers, and their staff organise loan pipelines, records, documents, and workflows. Funder Compass, its owners, and its personnel:
- do not hold an Australian Credit Licence (ACL) or act as a credit representative under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act;
- do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) or act as an authorised representative under the Corporations Act;
- do not hold any bank, ADI, non-bank lender, mortgage broker, real-estate, legal-practitioner, tax-agent, accounting, or trust-company licence;
- do not engage in any activity that requires such a licence in any jurisdiction — including originating, arranging, brokering, underwriting, funding, servicing, refinancing, or discharging credit or financial products;
- do not hold client or borrower money, operate a trust account, or act as a payments institution;
- do not operate as an anti-money-laundering reporting entity on your behalf; you remain solely responsible for AML/CTF, KYC, and customer due-diligence obligations.
Not financial, credit, legal, or tax advice
No content in the Service — including calculators, interest engines, checklists, templates, AI-assisted suggestions, screens, dashboards, or reports — constitutes personal financial, credit, investment, legal, or tax advice. Outputs are aids for professionals who are themselves licensed and qualified to make lending decisions. You must exercise your own professional judgement and, where appropriate, obtain independent legal, tax, or licensed credit advice before acting.
Accuracy of calculations and outputs
The Service performs interest, serviceability, LVR, drawdown, and other calculations based on inputs supplied by your users and on the parameters you configure. We make no representation that any calculation, projection, valuation figure, or automated recommendation is accurate, complete, current, or fit for a particular loan or borrower. You are responsible for verifying every output before relying on it.
Third-party data and integrations
The Service may display data from, or integrate with, third-party services (identity verification, credit bureaus, valuation providers, email delivery, cloud storage). We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party services.
Regulatory jurisdiction
You are solely responsible for identifying and complying with every law, licence, and professional standard that applies to your business in every jurisdiction where you operate — including consumer credit, privacy, anti-discrimination, AML/CTF, tax, record-keeping, and dispute-resolution requirements.
No warranty · limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, and Funder Compass will not be liable for any loss, damage, or liability arising from your use of the Service, including any lending decision, introduction, funding, or servicing activity you undertake.
